This free program is operated by FUSD following the guidelines for admission laid out by Governor Ducey in Executive Order 2020-51. This program is offered free to registered FUSD students to provide them with a supervised space to access their remote learning coursework. There will no transportation or in-person teacher-led instruction.
The Safe Learning Center is where students can access limited FUSD facilities for learning and support services such as supervision, internet access, and nutrition services during the school day. Each center will have a limited daily capacity of students, in order to optimize available resources and maintain health protocols to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. All students and staff will be required to wear face coverings and adhere to physical distancing and safety practices outlined by the District.
Please be advised that free on-site learning and support services may be suspended or terminated if the District or the Arizona Department of Health Services advises closing the premises for public health reasons or in the best interests of the staff and students.
