AHA HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED Course
The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This course combines video demonstrations with hands on training and is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (i.e. OSHA) or other requirements or for anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. The course covers the following topics: First Aid basics; medical emergencies; injury emergencies; environmental emergencies, preventing illness and injury; opiod associated emergency; and adult, child and infant CPR with AED use. The CPR/First Aid certificate that you will obtain for completing this course will be valid for 2 years.
